SP&E 471 - Strategic Modeling for Politics, Economics, & Business Decisions The goal of this course is to provide students with an understanding of several decision-making approaches in political science. The course is divided into four substantive sections emphasizing both theory and applications. The first section deals with a general overview of approaches and assumptions underlying positive decision making in political science. The second section focuses on game theory, the third section centers on expected utility theory and finally the final section deals with spatial bargaining models. Units: 4 Course Type: Seminar
