PSYCH 319S - Selection This course provides an in-depth exploration of selection processes in organizational settings, focusing on the principles, practices, and psychological theories that underlie effective hiring and promotion. Students will learn to design, implement, and evaluate selection systems that identify top talent while promoting transparency and legal compliance. Emphasis will be placed on both practical applications and the latest research in selection methods, including considerations for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Throughout the course, students will critically analyze various selection tools and examine their predictive validity, impact on organizational outcomes, and ethical implications.
