ECON 377 - Causal Modeling, Big Data, and Machine Learning The last decade has seen an explosion in machine learning applications within statistics and economics. But more recently, statisticians and economists have worked to build bridges between causal inference methodologies and prediction modeling. This semester, we will learn the canonical designs emerging from this new literature as students seek to apply them in their own research. Units: 4 Enrollment is exclusive to students who have previously passed ECON 317 AND ECON 382. Course Type: Seminar
