ECON 313 - Microeconomic Analysis


This course presents the neoclassical theory of welfare economics, demand, cost, the firm, and competitive and monopoly price in product and factor markets under conditions of certainty in a rigorous way. Introduction to positive transaction costs economics. Emphasis is placed on the student’s ability not only to understand the materials presented and to apply them to concrete problems.
