CGH 320 - Campaigning and Community Organizing for Public Health This course introduces students to a key area of knowledge in public health practice: the principles and methods of community organizing and campaigning for policy and structural change. Students learn how to mobilize the right people at the right time, with the right demands, to change public policies to promote health. Complements other courses in the school that look at advocating within policy processes or by using the mass media by placing these strategies in the context of the practical daily work and thinking of people who plan and carry out policy change campaigns at grassroots and grasstop levels.
