MATH 352 - Nonparametric Statistics

Treatment of statistical questions which do not depend on specific parametric models. Examples are testing for symmetry of a distribution and testing for equality of two distributions. Topics may include bootstrapping and other computer intensive methods. Elementary combinatorial methods will play a major role in the course. Prerequisite: a statistics course at the level of 252 or permission of the instructor.
