IST 697 - AI for Digital Transformation Practicum

The purpose of the Doctoral Practicum is to examine an industry-relevant, technology-focused, problem using practice-oriented, use-inspired basic research. Students will use various innovation and creative problem-solving approaches – design thinking, lean startup and agile among others. Students will synthesize current research and critically evaluate an important problem related to the information systems and technology domain. This will be in the context of an organizational defined problem. The topic should be broad enough to provide the student with a strong foundation in the area of study and deep enough to build a solid foundation for a use-inspired basic research agenda. Students will work closely with faculty to carefully define the problem and its boundaries.

Enrollment is exclusive to students who have previously passed AI for Digital Transformation (IST 601).
