BOT 420 - Spc Tpcs in Plant Systematics: Western North American flora and floristic study mthds

The course will examine topics in floristic research with an emphasis on western North America, including the origin and evolution of the flora of western North America and methods for conducting a floristic study. We will meet weekly to discuss background and methodological readings. We will also design and implement a number of exercises focused on how to develop a floristic study.
