Early Modern Studies

Students electing to pursue this concentration are required to complete four research tools.

1. Language exam in German or French
2. Language exam in Latin
3. Attend a course or workshop in Paleography
4. Attend a course or workshop in bibliographic inquiry into the extensive collections of modern print and manuscripts housed in the Special Collections of The Claremont Colleges Library
