Concentration Requirements
Early modern studies is a concentration available to master’s students in the arts and humanities departments of English, history, philosophy, and in the School of Religion. To complete a concentration in early modern studies, a student must take five courses in the early modern period, 1500 to 1800, of which one must be outside the discipline in which the student is earning the degree, and one a course in multidisciplinary study offered by the program.
