Program

The primary objective of Community & Global Health at CGU is improving the health and well-being of our local communities.  Strategies include state-of-the-science research and training programs that address the behavioral, biological, social, and economic determinants affecting health outcomes.  Four programs have been designed to train students to meet these goals.

Dual Degree Programs

CGU offers students an opportunity to pursue a second degree in conjunction with the MPH.  Guidelines regarding dual degrees are detailed in the academic policies section of the Bulletin.

Accelerated Program Bachelor’s/Master’s

Undergraduate students from The Claremont Colleges are invited to apply to a Bachelor’s/Master’s program at CGU.  During the last two years of undergraduate study, Bachelor’s/Master’s students are increasingly immersed into graduate public health courses.  Upon completion of the bachelor’s degree, the student is admitted with full graduate standing in the MPH Program.
