Students admitted to the doctoral program in Philosophy are required to become familiar with the program’s Student Handbook for the year in which the student begins the program.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the doctoral program is restricted to students who have graduated with distinction from CGU’s Master of Arts in Philosophy program and who wish to work in the history of philosophy field.
Degree Requirements
Coursework. A minimum of 72 units of coursework are required.
Other Requirements. Additional requirements for the doctoral degree are as follows.

- Dissertation - policies and procedures detailed in the Doctoral Degrees section of the Bulletin
