Graduate Degrees
- Education. Any of the above credentials or certificates can be earned in conjunction with a Master of Arts in Education Degree. As noted, each of the preliminary credential programs is designed to be earned concurrently with the MA in Education with a total of 36 units. All other programs listed here contain units that can also be counted toward the regular 32-unit MA in Education as described under general SES guidelines.
- Applied Mathematics. The Preliminary Single Subject Credential in Mathematics can be earned in conjunction with an MA in Applied Mathematics in a special 48-unit program inclusive of both degree and credential requirements. The courses consist of 28 specific education units and 20 specific mathematics units. Students who apply to this program need a strong background in applied mathematics to be successful.
