Degree Requirements

Degree requirements for the MA in Cultural Studies include the following: 40 units of graduate coursework (including one approved Research Method course, one Writing course and three 300-level introductory courses in Cultural Studies), satisfactory academic progress, and a final paper of publishable journal article quality.

Students admitted to any degree program in the Cultural Studies Department must read carefully the Cultural Studies Department Student Handbook for the year in which they began the program and the Registration and Degree Information   in this Bulletin for a complete, detailed listing of requirements.
