Degree Requirements

Degree requirements for the MA in History and Archival Studies include: 48 units of coursework (12 units must be in archival education, which includes a 4-unit internship), one foreign language/research tool, one substantive research paper, and a thesis.

Students admitted to any degree program in the History Department must read carefully the History Department Student Handbook for the year in which they began the program and the Registration and Degree Information   in this Bulletin for a complete, detailed listing of requirements.
