Introduction
The School of Community and Global Health (SCGH) at Claremont Graduate University is a world-class academic entity created to improve the health and well-being of local and global communities through state-of-the-science, research, and training programs addressing the behavioral, biological, social, and economic determinants affecting health outcomes. The School offers training in public health/health promotion at both the masters and doctoral levels.
Admission Requirements
Applications are accepted for fall and spring semesters. Applicants with demonstrable leadership potential in teaching, research and service aimed to create social policies and systems changes conducive to good health and wellbeing are preferred. While no specific undergraduate major is required for admission, a record of undergraduate and/or graduate academic achievement and relevant work experience will be critical for selection purposes. Applicants are admitted on the basis of letters of recommendation, a personal statement, test scores (i.e., GRE, GMAT or MCAT), a resume, and transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
