Teacher Education Internship Program (MA/Credential)

The Teacher Education Internship Program at CGU offers coursework to assist students in achieving a variety of goals.

  • Credentials. Both Preliminary and Clear Credentials for multiple subject, single subject, and education specialist instruction are available.
  • MA/Credential.  Because the program is both a master’s and a credentialing program, CGU institutional degree requirements and California State credentialing requirements must be met.
  • Authorizations/Certificates.  The program offers an Added-Authorization in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as a CGU Certificate in ASD.

Degree Requirements

Graduate Degrees.  University policies and procedures are detailed in the Registration and Degree Information  section of the Bulletin.  The Expenses and Financial Aid  section of the Bulletin provides information about finances.

Education

Credentials and certificates may be earned in conjunction with the MA in Education.  Degree requirements are available on the Education, MA  page.

Preliminary credential programs are specifically designed to be earned concurrently with the MA in Education.

Applied Mathematics

The Preliminary Subject Credential in Mathematics can be earned together with the Master of Arts in Applied Mathematics by completing the required 48 units.  Coursework consists of 28 specific education and 20 specific mathematics units.  Applicants must have a strong background in applied mathematics in order to be successful.
