Students admitted to the doctoral program in Philosophy are required to become familiar with the program’s Student Handbook for the year in which the student begins the program.

Admission Requirements

Admission to the doctoral program is restricted to students who have graduated with distinction from CGU’s Philosophy, MA  program and who wish to work in the field of the history of philosophy.

Degree Requirements

Coursework.  A minimum of 72 units of coursework are required.
