The Master of Arts in Arts Management (MAAM) is a 48-unit degree consisting of 32 units of required core courses and 16 units of elective courses. The program may be completed in two years of full-time study. The student, with the help and approval of an advisor, determines the actual arrangement and sequence of courses taken. 

Capstone Course. ARMGT 400: Arts Management Consulting Practicum. The Arts Management Consulting Practicum is a 4-unit capstone experience for the second year of the Arts Management program. Students in their final semester conduct consulting projects in arts organizations. Activities include defining the scope of work, identifying deliverables, contracting, conducting the project, and writing a final project report. They integrate arts management skills learned through the program to provide 100 hours of consulting with the support of a faculty advisor. The project culminates with a final paper and public presentation.
