Academic Program

The PhD with emphasis in Special Education is designed for professionals seeking to become university faculty or educational leadership personnel to improve the academic results of students with disabilities. The program design integrates requirements for the Level II Education Specialist Credential. Students choose their remaining coursework to support personal academic and research interests.  All other requirements of the PhD in Education apply to students in this program.
