Academic Calendar 2011 – 2012


Since the CGU Bulletin is effective with the Summer semester of each year, the 2011 Bulletin begins listing the academic year from Summer to avoid confusion and error in the understanding of this publication.

All dates are subject to change. Please visit www.cgu.edu/acadcalendar for updates as well as for an expanded listing, including Add/Drop deadlines for individual modules and for fees and refund schedules applicable to enrollment changes.  Registration periods and other student services reminders are published on the registrar’s website at www.cgu.edu/registrar/.

May 30 Memorial Day Holiday - Campus closed
May 31 Add/Drop deadline - Regular session
June 16 Deadline to file Intent to Receive a Degree for Summer
June 27 Last day to drop without W notation - Regular session
July 2 Module 1 ends
July 4 Independence Day Holiday - Campus closed
July 5 Module 2 begins
July 8 Last day to schedule dissertation defense
July 22 Last day to defend dissertations
August 1 Deadline - Completion of Summer degree requirements; dissertations/theses due
